Is anyone stationed at Fort Hood as a Mp, if so how is the post and the surrounding area, also what unit were or are you in?

Was there 97 to 2000. I am sure that the area has not changed since I last visited back in 2004, and as an MP I am guessing that not much has changed with the exception of it being a closed post now.

Something tells me that as an MP, you won't have to worry about being at Hood for long anyway.

Well I thought I was going to Ft.Hood but I just got orders to Ft.Polk after I finish AIT(reclass),I have heard it is a good post if you like the outdoors fishing, hunting, etc. Has anyone been staitioned there as a MP?

Yea, I know two people down there. One MP and one CID agent.

Went to JRTC there in july. It was so hot and humid that you sweated in the shower.

Have fun. Don't feel bad. I was supposed to go to Hood also, but the Army changed that.
