CONUS, of course.

I'd have to say specifically Fort Belvoir or somewhere back in the MDW area. It's close to the heart of the world and there's just so much to do and see.

If Hunter AAF wasn't a part of the 3ID and deployed all the time, I would say a close second would be Hunter AAF. There's so much history down here and the beach is very close.

CONUS. For me it would be Fort Meade. I had a great time there for AIT and it's close to both DC and Baltimore. On top of that, it would put me back on the east coast with my family and most of my friends, but yet keep me far enough away from them (6 hour drive) that they couldn't just drop in on me. Smiler

OCONUS for me! I'd like to be stationed around the Kaiserslautern area. I love the area and I can drive with my husband to Holland for family visits.

I don't know...my husband and I love tropical beaches, etc. Lately, I have been dreaming of Hawaii Smiler But I won't mind Europe at all, as I would be closer to the rest of my family (my parents are in the US)

Easy one, send me where Frosty1 is cause she's hot. Cool

Aside from a few liberal induced headaches from her I don't think it would be that bad.

If that wasn't possible though send me CONUS to the Pentagon.

Thank you for the compliment.

Something tells me we'd both end up with headaches, though. Or we'd end up killing each other. Regardless, it would be interesting to say the least.

I'd have to say CONUS! I would love to be stationed in Fort Irwin, CA (I'd take DLI in Monterey, too and i'd also go back to Fort Lewis!)

But if it comes down to OConus...i'd stay here in Yongsan, Korea!

Are you from the West Coast by any chance? Seems the only people who truly love Irwin are locals of some sort. Though I'll say I don't mind it here, but that's because it's so close to LA and Vegas. Smiler

in reply to your q's.

Yes, i am from the west coast. Also lived in LA and Las Vegas and my hometown isn't that far away from Irwin also....

You'd probably find me at the 11th Sig Bde PA office, if it was up to me, in beautiful southern Arizona. I did 2 1/2 years at Huachuca and loved it.

CONUS would have to be Ft Campbell and the 101st.
OCONUS would have to be Hawaii, not necessarily the 25th ID.
