I'd have to say specifically Fort Belvoir or somewhere back in the MDW area. It's close to the heart of the world and there's just so much to do and see.
If Hunter AAF wasn't a part of the 3ID and deployed all the time, I would say a close second would be Hunter AAF. There's so much history down here and the beach is very close.
CONUS. For me it would be Fort Meade. I had a great time there for AIT and it's close to both DC and Baltimore. On top of that, it would put me back on the east coast with my family and most of my friends, but yet keep me far enough away from them (6 hour drive) that they couldn't just drop in on me.
I don't know...my husband and I love tropical beaches, etc. Lately, I have been dreaming of Hawaii But I won't mind Europe at all, as I would be closer to the rest of my family (my parents are in the US)

But if it comes down to OConus...i'd stay here in Yongsan, Korea!
Are you from the West Coast by any chance? Seems the only people who truly love Irwin are locals of some sort. Though I'll say I don't mind it here, but that's because it's so close to LA and Vegas.
