What do you think?

Question:
Are we in a recession or not? Or is all this economic talk just hype for an election year?

Choices:
Yes, we've been in a recession for a while now
Yes, we are just now in a recession
Not sure/can't tell yet
No, we need 2 quarters of negative GDP
No, it's just all hype

I would argue that we have not been in a recession and that we may or may not be right now - it's too early to tell.

Technically we are not in a recession; a recession occurs when economical growth is negative for two or more successive quarters of a year.

So far this year the economy has growen ever so slightly at 1-3% (give or take)for the past few month.

So, the answer to you poll is no we are not.

Now are we headed that away, thats a more of a appropriate question. And a new poll.

What he said. The facts are clear, there is no need for opinion. The economy MUST shrink to have a recession, and it has yet to do so. End of story/poll.
