Has anyone been to Ft. Gordon for AIT as a 25B. Any help would be apreciated. thank you

I would also like to know some information about the AIT because I have a class date in May. I want to go TDY and return to my current station. I am also on assignment after this. Who do I talk to about going TDY and return and if possible changing my assignment?

Did you reenlist for this MOS?

If you did, you must be approved for TDY and return before you reenlist.

Either way, there are not many TDY ad return requests approved because your installation/unit must pay for the TDY. That gets expensive for some units. The installation G-3 has approval.

Also, there must be a need for your new MOS/grade at your current location. This information comes fro the Installtion G-1 which recommends to the G-3. If there is no valid slot for your new MOS/grade, you won't get this request approved.
