"they feed you enough in basic and I still lost 65 lbs"
Whoa! Dang because I weigh about 140, 5'9. I eat a lot but nothing happens... So I'm just trying to work out to get bigger but it's not working. I'm doing push ups and sit ups though. I was thinking about using "Creatine" if you guys have any advice please let me know, Thanks.

You won't be allowed to bring anything not prescribed. Besides, creatine will probably end up killing you with the stress of road marches, confidence course, etc. At Campbell, a guy died because he took creatine before the 12k at the end of the course.

I know the guys here at Army Study Guide did their best to answer my questions, of course by the six page thread. But even before hand I really didnt have a good concept on how I was going to handle my Army career. Obviously, I could've handled it better but everything looks better in hind sight and things always seem to be able to have changed. Its only been a couple years but I learned alot and coming in on a three year contract, and going on about 3.5 years. I wish I could've had someone to break in down in civilian terms for me. Maybe they tried, but then again I was an ignorant civilian who just couldn't understand things. Since my time in, I've been a B and an A team leader, was a squad leader for a month and some change straight, and some days on and off, and have been intelligent, reliable, and worked as hard as I can for those who have called upon me for random tasks. Thats not something that people teach in basic training though, and honestly...Personally walking in on three people trying to commit suicide, having another 10 or so try it within my platoon, and seeing 6 people personally from my squad (which I have remained in my entire length of service after BCT/AIT) get chaptered out of the Army and another 10 or so get chaptered from my platoon...It makes me wish that we had a better choice of recruits. Most of the chaptered people I have had to deal with in my eyes have been robbed by the Army. There is so many things the leaders of these people could have done to reform them and failed to do, which resulted in them just getting booted and left confused. So, I would like to see a better choice of recruits, and a much better selection for promotions. It seems the favorite game is used alot in the Army, when entire squads are better than others but since the squad leader is disliked, the entire squad gets damaged for it. The guy with the highest GT score, who can memorize any manual is useless unless he can put it to use in a combat situation. The choice of some of the leaders that have been made in the Army are aggravating, and I would like to see some way in the future of fixing this. But realistically, it will never happen. Those are my views, which are entirely off track. Sorry if I let a language slip but I think I got all of them.
