earlier this month I posted how nervous I was about this whole thing... you guys answered my questions and were very helpful...

Now, I know I leave for BCT on May 13th... what's next?? what do I pack? do I need money? what should I know?

you're recruiter should have given you a packing list but if not here is a link to one for ya: Army BCT Packing List

jgarner is right. You're recrutier should have given you a list. Use his link. Basically, just waer jeans and an appropriate shirt. Bring a change of underwear, hygiene products (feminine and normal), no more than $50 in cash.

Also, bring a checkbook and/or debit card, your green ID (unless you have a CAC already), and your child shot records.

That's basically the summed up version of the link. Check there anyway to make sure you don't need anything else.

They give yall the green ID before you go to basic now?

I got mine in basic but my buddy who enlisted about a year after me got his before basic.

I know a couple friends in the service now who got their CAC before basic too.

Wow, well I guess that could be good. I hope they dont lose em.
