The VCSA put out some things last week that seemed to catch many Soldiers' attention. Below are bits and pieces of what the Army is implementing:

What does this mean? It means the Army will temporarily delay (cessation was there word) non-essential functions beginning in July.

So ...

If you want to reenlist for an assignment or a bonus, you better see the Career Counselor by June 26 or all bets are off for some time.

All of this is going to create quite an uproar. We'll have to just wait and see what happens I suppose.

I was going to wait and see what happens until someone posted some the contents of the VCSAs message on here.

ok it says beginning in july, i am due to pcs, start clearing wed. fly out on the 21 of june and sign in on the 29 of july. house hold goods is gone, pov is gone. anyone know if this will or can affect me?

Hmmmm, I wonder how long this is going to last. I'm supposed to PCS in October, though honestly, I would have absolutely no problem just staying here.

I would never be one to question the info that ArmyReup passes out but this kinda seems a little out there. How the hell is the Army just going to stop recruiting, promotions, pcs's etc? ArmyReup can you please post the entire message. I was on HRC yesterday and just glancing around couldn't find anything about it and haven't seen this yet in any of the other forums. Thanks.

That link won't load? Do i have to sign in somewhere? That just kinda bites. I am going to the promotion board tomorrow, in 9 hours i should say. Is it really true? I want to know more about it? And how come it's not on AKO...wouldn't something that big be all over the military sites or even AFN???
