Terrorist say they killed Soldiers

Am I the only one that questions this story? I mean these terrorists kept demanding that we stop looking for these soldiers. They say that the reason they killed them was because of the way we were searching (yeah, I am so sure they would have let them live) and they aren't showing the bodies...that is so unlike them.

What if, these guys are still alive and this is a ploy to get us to stop looking for them? Besides, if they want us to stop looking so much...I say we pick it up and turn over more rocks. Maybe we are getting to close to something or someone.

If you get captured, you're dead. I don't know why they aren't providing proof, but I don't expect the Soldiers to be alive.

I think they were killed at the same time as the other soldier, the bodies just haven't been dumped/found yet.

I think what SSGGunbunny is getting at is that they might still be alive and the terrorist might be hiding them. The fact is until we have confirmation that they are in fact dead, they could be keeping them alive trying to extract information from them, and therefore there is a chance we could rescue them.

In my simple mind, the opinion I come up with is that those that kidnapped the Soldiers did so on their own accord without the backing of the more powerful "insurgent" leaders. If that is true then the leaders wanted the searching to decrease so that they could collect the 2 Soldiers and use them for propaganda. I think that if we give up the search then these young Soldiers will likely give up on their commrades and their country... the sounds of fighting may be far away from them but it is sounds that someone cares.

This is just my humble thinking and hope but we must have faith in our fellow Soldier in order to strengthen their resolve.
