I don't think anything will happen. Didn't they already claim he was dead? Let's just say, timing is a motha, Do you think this is another smoke screen, like the sudden talk about gay marriage again?

That was my initial thought as well. While I hope it will change things, maybe get us out of there quicker, I really doubt it. Unfortunately.

No indepth analysis done on my part on this subject yet... I think he was a strong leader and he had setup a very effective network of agents. He had several months in which he expected to be killed at anytime, so he likely had plenty of time to train and emplace an efficient second-in-command (who we did not get). We successfully removed large sections of the network with the other raids that occured at the same time as the bomb was dropped. I hope this will be a huge hit on the insurgent network and makes it easier for US forces to strangle the rest of the network. This is my oppinion only, based on what I have read in the news yesterday and today.
