Just a word for fellow soldiers. I am not sure how many people use this site to actually study for boards, or just to post. However, I will highly recommend the studyguide here to everyone. Pass it on to your fellow soldiers. I went to the SOM board last month, and just took the Promotion board today. I won the SOM and did awesome on the Promo. This site has helped me a great deal and I encourage everyone to pass this on to fellow soldiers, even the younger ones. The sooner you start the better.
:wink: but don't rely totally on the study guide. Make sure you stick your nose in the FM's and AR's . Especially FM 7.0 and 7.1! Anyone can memorize the study guide...but to be a good NCO you need to understand WHY and HOW things are done. Same with the NCO creed....don't just memorize it...LIVE it.

Whats your peoples MOS's cause my MOS is steady at 798 and I'm seriously lackin awards and civilian ed which is about to change after I get my military course's transferred over to University of Cincinnati. Anyway what are you points sittin at?
If they had points for SFC it looks like you wuld have made that also
