i recentley went to the e-6 promotion board and was asked what a "salute platform" was. If anyone knows please tell me, and it's not a reviewing stand.
Sounds to me like someone may have been asking a question about something that they had no idea what they were talking about and so they did not realize their mistake when phrasing the question.
