I am going to the E-5 board tomorrow. I am kind of nervous about it like i am with any board because I really want this. I talked to my 1SG tonight on the phone and he when I told him that I been studying all day and put my uniform in the cleaners he told me I should have done that. That i am going to be good. That he didnt want me to spend any money on my uniform. And not to study at all. So lets just hope everything goes well tomorrow.
Be very calm and confident. Don't be like me, I was so nervous that I almost puch myself for missing a question that I knew couple minutes before... If you were sent to the board, that means you have potential, so just go there answers questions from the best of your knowledge. Good luck
Ditto Supply master. Confidence is everything in the board. I usally find that Soldiers are not confident for two reasons: 1) They didn't study as much as they knew they should or 2) they are not confident in their abilities as a leader or Soldier/NCO of the Month. If you have prepared like you knew you should then there is no reason you should doubt yourself. Just tell yourself that you own this board.

I went it this morning it lasted 3 min if that. To make a long story short my CSM pretty much told me I was a great soldier and knew my supply mos very well etc. I was asked one question by a 1SG it was- "when you get promoted what are you going to be a SGT or a NCO". I responded by saying NCO because I have had some great leaders in my day and I want to pass that on keep the torch going. They liked that. So If S-1 does there part I should get promoted June 1
I think that in some cases some boards are easier for others based on if the 1SGs and the CSM think that you are ready to be an NCO. Congrats on passing the board. Do not stop studying and learning.
