I would like to understand and know more about this club. I was recommended by a 1SG to go to the Audie Murphy Board, and I don't really know how this goes...

Any advice or infos about this will be helpful...

Your unit may have NCO's who have already appeared before the Audie Murphy board. You may want to ask and get pointers from them. When I went, it was a real eye opener. What I took away was how every NCO looked after their soldiers and how well they knew them. Every candidate had a different version of a leaders book, some thick with files, others just some notes jotted on a green book. I personally don't believe in thick, clunky leader books because I memorized my soldiers' info, but every unit has different standard.
