hi i have a problem with current event, i read the news but im having a hard time understanding world new with current event, i am going to the tomorrow..please help!!

Current Events is easy man, but it could be a big killer since it's a HUGE part of your grading process.. Believe it or not. CNN.com is the choice for unprepared NCOs, and more than likely, that's the source where your current event questions will be from. And even though I HATE HATE HATE when NCOs ask these types of questions, they also ask Sports questions.. i.e. Who won the Super Bowl, what team won what last night. Try to concentrate on reading the news tonight and tomorrow morning on World Events, the Election cheese, for example Ted Kennedy today gave the OK to Barrack Obama for running for president.. Which is a big deal for democrats for some reason.. Crap like that, man.. World, US & Sports news = Current Events. Good luck, man..

What's happening with the NDAA is a good topic right now that affects every Soldier.

I had current events questions on my BN SOQ board list drill. He wanted a topic from politics, economy, and sports. I got the first three because that's what I follow. However, I'm one of the few guys who don't follow sports at all. I gave that honest answer that I don't follow sports & had no current event. The MSG reamed me for it since "all my guys" follow sports & I need to be able to interact with them on this topic. I agreed with him verbally but I disagree inside.

i went to the board a few weeks ago and i was never asked a current events question. I think my personal history kept em busy..
