I was reviewing my board material for next week, and found something interesting, that I've seen before, but dismissed and left it at "They must have it wrong"...the line...
"...I will strive to remain technically and tactically proficient...."
It is published as this in DA Pam 600-25, and I read on ArmyStudyGuide that it was published the other way in FM 7-22.6 (the way I learned it) as:
"....I will strive to remain tactically and technically proficient..."
A recent graduate of WLC, and friend, told me the NCO Academy told them it was officially "technically and tactically", and that they were trying to change it to be the other way, due to the current war. I believe this, but I just want to double check, so I don't mess up the NCO Creed in the promotion board. Not to mention, I want to help out other soldiers, so they don't learn it wrong.
Which do you say? Which is correct? For now, I am going to try to go with technically and tactically, since that's all I can find documentation of, but I've always heard the other way.
Edit: Just found that it's posted as one way on
http://www.armystudyguide.com/content/army_board_study_...es/nco-creed-2.shtml , then another on the downloadable ArmyStudyGuide PDF.
Thanks..
