Am I the only one a unnerved by the numerous errors in the ArmyStudyGuide.com material?

On one hand, I am grateful that the guide is free.

On the other hand, though I am just a private, I am able to immediately identify dozens upon dozens of mistakes, inconsistencies, and parts that could otherwise be done better. The more I reference the original material (FMs, ARs, etc.), the more such instances I find. I have a growing list of questions that I am going to have to answer with the format, "First Sergeant, though the ArmyStudyGuide.com book says X, FM 1-2.3 says Y."

So... is it just me?

Just like numerous publications that are maintained and updated by a single person with a full-time job, the study guide is not 100% accurate; it may be 95% or better.

What can you do about it?
Instead of merely complaining about how things are wrong (like many things in life), suggests specific, not general, corrections with regulatory references.

Example:
I saw a mistake on page 49 with question #3. It reads: (Copy and paste original question and answer).

It should read: Write in the new way it should be. State current regulation with paragraph and any other relevat information.

It's YOUR career! Take control of it before someone else does.

Roger.

I am all about action.

There are literally hundreds of edits, so I was hesitant to invest the time before I could be sure that someone is listening on the other end.

I will gladly send a thorough revision set (it will be an educational experience even if nothing would come of it).

Thank you.

Of course it has a few issues, but it gave me the proper study material to get from my E3 to my E6 (in under 5yrs). Thank you for putting something else that is has been used from Korea, to Ft. Lewis and then to Iraq. Keep up the good work , and PFC King if you do happen to put all that time into it you will most probably learn a huge majority of it in the process. Good luck..
