looking to reclass to the 35m field from 11b, i'm just waiting on my interim ts clearance... going in as a staff sergeant, is there an abbreviation ait or special training for reclasses? how long is the total training? and also what are the chances of getting language training through the dli and if so do i get apreference on which language (my dlab was a 108)? i've heard conflicting reports

Since you are a SSG, it is very likely you will be going to DLI. Usually don't get a choice of language, unless you finagled something into your reenlistement contract. Or (going out on a limb here) find somebody to trade with when you get there. At DLI you will be going to class/training/taking care of IET soldiers. It's fun
The big three languages are Chinese, Arabic, Korean. and then Persian Farsi after those. All those languages are over a year long with the exception of PF.
