I am a 63H SGT, who is thinking about reclassing to 79R under the BEAR Program. I have read alot of negative remarks on the internet about being a recruiter. I realize the job will be very challenging. If I do reclass, I would like to succeed as a recruiter. Is it possible to succeed as a recruiter?

Of course it's possible.

With the right self-motivation and the right location, you could be the BEST recruiter.

It's YOUR career! Take control of it before someone else does.

It is possibleto be successful but it is about 90% not something you can control. Your success will be dictated on location. I would seriously consider doing recruiting as a detailed recruiter before you convert. As an example the guy who took over station commander at my office after neing the top recruiter in his BN. When he got to my BN he came to a place who has not made mission in over 3 years. To make a long story short he is now on medical leave after being diagnosed as manic depressive and bi-polar. Try recruiting before you make it the rest of your career is all I can say.
