I would like to know if I can participate in the BEAR program. I am a 92A E-5(P) with over 12 years of active service. I am scheduled to ETS in November 2009.

Because your current MOS is balanced, you CAN participate in the BEAR Program.

You'll need to find an MOS that has a C Zone bonus.

Thank you. I looked at the latest BEAR message and could not find any reason that I could not participate, but I wanted to make sure. The reason that I was asking is because I was told by my Retention NCO that it was not possible because of my time in service.

As long as you pick one with a C Zone bonus, you'll be good. Good luck!
