If a soldier reenlist on the bear program can they request the HAAP so that only the soldier can pcs after retraining and the family can stay put.

When you EXTEND under the BEAR Program, you are not guaranteed an assignment of choice ... you can, however, request an assignment to Korea (or other dependent restricted tour) and you're family can stay.

Question. Don't like your family () or does your wife have a good job/family ties?

Thanks for the reply, I love my family but I have a house and my daughter and fiance are both in school and it will be in their best interest to stay where we are for the next year or so.
