I was wondering, is there anyway you can have airborne training added to your bear contract? I am interested in the bear program but desperately also want to go airborne and was wondering whats the best way to do this? Would I have to wait until after my training where I reenlisted to get it is an incentive? please help to shed some light on this matter for me. thanks guys

When you participate in the BEAR Program you're actually extending.

Now, this is not the norm, but I've seen Soldiers attend AIT with AIT enroute to their next duty station (which was Fort Bragg).

What I would recommend is that you extend under the BEAR Program and put your follow-on assignment preference as Fort Bragg. You may get the Airborne training.
