My status..Im a spc non-p and got accepted into the BEAR program. My school date is in May 09 and my unit has warning orders to deploy in december 08. i was told by my career counselor that i am deploying and will leave iraq to go to school. is that true? because of what i read in MILPER Message 06-232, im exempt from SL/SM and it also says that HRC won't contact me if i'm deployed to go to school. we are soon coming close to stop loss but im not on rear-detatchment. are people screwing me over?? or will i get the chance to deploy and go to school? of am i not even supposed to deploy? because im confused! plz help! thanks

ohh yeah FYI i dont have assignment orders yet!
and on my requestions, it says im in a fenced unit which has said that for more than a year and under it, it says im designated to reclassifying and reenlisting..

Even though you are exempt from stop move, you are not exempt from th deployment. Yes, Soldiers are sent back home to attend training under the BEAR Program, recruiting and/or drill sergeant duty.

You will not receive your follow-on assignment until about 90 days prior to training.
