Due to lack of training vacancies the MOSs in RED (on linked page below) are suspended from the BEAR Program, and will remain suspended until training vacancies become available.

I saw this. That really sucks. Thats why I reenlisted and did all this extra stuff to reclass. Seem like the only way out my MOS is to ETS.

Is this just until the new fiscal year? About how long do you think they will be closed, or will they be removed from the BEAR Program?

This is until more class seats are secured. Could be the new FY, could be prior to the next FY.

25U has been reinstated in the BEAR Program.
(There are a few seats available for FY08)

ok, so there is still a chance that I could still get 46R? How far out do they usually reserve class seats or is it all determined by the MOS? Sorry for the many questions. I just was VERY upset when saw that MOS in red. I attempted the test once and had purchased the resources in order to perfect my voice and was planning on retaking it within the next 2 weeks. I can still take it, though, right. Is there a certain amout of time before your ets you reenlist? Also, if no class seats are offered soon, what would my best strategy be for being able to obtain one? Should I wait for it to open back up, or go ahead and reenlist in my crappy MOS for the least amout of time possible? My ETS is in Jan of 08. And if by a miracle, it opens back soon, would I be able to PCS from this heck-hole or would I be stuck here until the class date?

Is there a message that states 25U is reinstated into the BEAR program. I talked to my career counselor and he says I can't choose 25U because it's suspended. Thats the only mos I want from the program.

Tell your Career Counselor (not Reenlistment NCO) to look on the "FLASH MESSAGE"!

Is there a number for that flash message?
Is there a way I can get a copy from you or screen shot of it?

I always talk to my career counselor first. I was the BN reenlistment NCO but when I switched positions, the NCO that replaced me isn't to competent. He already promised me Ft. Richardson Alaska and training together. Which I know can't be done from a reenlistment. So I go straight to my career counselor. Which is in Hawaii while I'm in Japan.
