Questiong for you guys that have reclassed. I am reclassing and I am married. Im at Ft. Hood and my new branch told me I am returning to Ft. Hood. I am guessing I have to leave my wife here while I am in school for the 2 1/2 months?

Can't say 100% but I am pretty sure you are not authorized sponsorship unless your school is 6 months or longer. At least you get fam sep!

The school has to be 20 weeks or longer in order to be authorized to take dependents with you.

I'm thinking about just putting my stuff in storage right here and just getting a little apartment off post for 2 months or so.

Bad idea!!! You can make more money by just sucking it up the 2 1/2 months. It will go fast and put less stress on your wife/family. I would also find out what the policy is at your training location. It is up to you and you will probably do what you want in the end but if you listen to what people have to say you could avoid a big mistake.
