TCI College of Technology, a regionally accredited institution based in New York City, has launched Audio Technology curricula geared specifically for U.S. military personnel serving around the globe. These online classes not only allow students to learn about audio production, but give them the hands-on knowledge and equipment of doing it themselves.
Michael Gall, Vice President at TCI stated, "We are excited to be able to offer our service men and women the first tailor-made audio curricula that give them the ability to take their love for music and translate that into a possible career. There is a lot of musical talent in the armed forces today. So we want to give them the tools and technical know-how to be competitive in an industry that is growing significantly.” The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts a 36% job growth for the music and entertainment industry between 2006 and 2016.
