What are the chances of getting deployed as a 15W?

.... really? As long as there's a war, you'll deploy.

That seems obvious, but I haven't been so lucky yet.

15W is on BEAR for a number of reasons.

One is due to a limited number of class seats that fill quick.

The other is that this MOS deploys rather frequently since it is after all an Aviation MOS.

The Air Force has Officiers that stay stateside and operate UAV's may be what you are confused as far as deployment optempo.

Enlisted Army.....we go there, completely different story.

Are you sure it's on there now? According to the current Miliper message on armyreenlistment.com it isn't...

The one on ArmyReenlistment is dated.

They are a great source for most info, but sometimes lag a week or two.

So get your flight phys scheduled AND completed through your Primary healthcare Provider to get a 'greenlight" on that and then it will just be a matter of waiting for an open seat.

Hey Corvette,
Do you know if there are seats currently available? I have a soldier who spoke to retention last week and was told to get his physical then wait until the 22nd.

I do not, however they historically fill up very quickly.

Your Soldier received correct info though, you can't go forward if you don't have the basic flight phys done.
