I just signed up for 25N last week. I served as a tank crewman from 96-2000, then went to college to study Mechanical Engineering and Finance.

I did not complete either degree, however I have well over 100 college credit hours between the two degrees (mostly ME).

I plan to stay in the Army for the remaining 16 years I have until I am eligible for retirement.

I am re-entering as a PFC (used to be SPC), and am considering OCS or WOCS. I understand that there are WO's in the signal corp, is that not correct?

My primary question is how long should I wait to begin building a packet for either OCS or WOCS, especially considering that I am about to turn 33, and should have enough points to make E-5 by the time I complete training in November?

As soon as you can. Get through all your required training and report into your unit.

It's YOUR career! Take control of it before someone else does.
