I have a reservation slot for 68w but I am thinking about going for 11x. My physical is in 2 days and if all goes well i ship out on july 16. my question is if i wanted to change my mos, is it too late now or can i change it at meps possibly? I'm sorry if this sounds stupid but I really don't know.

It is not too late to change your MOS selection from 68W to 11X. Let your recruiter know what you want to do. He will need to go into FSR2S, cancel the reservation for the 68W, then make a new one for 11X. This will more than likely change the date you ship out. If he gives you any grief, let him know that you want to change it and are not going to meps without it being changed.

well i'm supposed to go to the hotel tomorrow the day before meps. so should i let my recruiter know before i go there? or is that too late? i'm not worried about the recruiter giving me any grief because i can tell they just want me to hurry up and join regardless of if its with an mos i want or not.

Talk to your recruiter now. Don't wait until the day before. Like Rctr said it might move your ship date but the sooner you do it the faster you should get a new ship date.
