He has a point. ?! Yes a little sarcastic and someone shouldn't talk to a Senior NCO that way, but he's been around a little while and I don't think he would talk to someone who outranks him in person like he did here.
In the end, I think the manner of questioning was not "professional" either.
[My Own Professional Opinion (MOPO)] A Senior NCO should know how to help a Soldier in such a situations such as yours- meaning you should figure it out so you know how to do it.. The suggestions Hellz gave are spot-on. [/MOPO]
