Your paperwork should state if you have to pay it or not...you might have to pay the difference between the time you served on your current enlistment.

From my understanding, if you reenlisted under the deployment reup program, finishing your deployment fulfilled your monetary obligation.
However, TransAm may be right. It depends on what your reenlistment terms were. You should read over your contract and speak with your career counselor to go over the fine print.

I am pretty certain the regulation says differently. I am on an MWR computer now, but will check, quote and repost. I do not believe CH 18 is general, as AR stated in previous post it is not punitive.

Ch 18 under AR 635-200 is an honorable discharge: e. The service of those separated per this chapter will be characterized as honorable, unless an uncharacterized description of service is required for soldiers in entry-level status.
