Looking for any advice anyone can share. Would I qualify for a bonus under the RC to AC program and if so, Which Milper Message would it fall under? I'm presently deployed as a Reservist and want to re-up and go Active. My ETS is 18JUL2008 and my MOS is 74D w/a secondary of 13M. Any help out there? Thanks in advance.

I just switched over from the guard to active duty. This is how they will determine the bonus. Look at the most current milper message on ENLISTMENT BONUS programs. If you have a MOS that you are SIGNing for, you get the same amount as a newbie would get. I am 11B, signed for 4 years, and got $9000. be aware though you may have a bonus from the reserve re-couped on a prorated basis ( for me, with my payout and time I served on the 1st installment, i would only have to pay back like $350 if they take it back)Also, you might be able to get your base. I asked for Lewis and got it under option 18
