SGT (P) 92Y will have 6yrs of service nov 06. Reenlisted and received a A bonus March 04. ETS Mar 08. Are there any Re enlistment bonus options?

What about the location SRB for 75th Ranger Regiment for 92Y's? I am a 92Y3O with 5.5 years in eyeing that.

Sure, if you have the SQI "V" (Ranger Parachutist) and are reenlisting for the assignment (75th Rangers), you qualify for the bonus.

Do you have to have the "V" identifier? I saw something saying it was rescinded and one had just 92Y without an identifier.

If you look on page 10 it says 92Y 75th Ranger Regt with 2A/2B for SSG with a max bonus of 20k. W/"V" will score you a 2.5. These don't come in effect until 7 November.

I think that you should be able to get that bonus. From what I saw it said just plain 92y without the "V".

Paragraph e states:

"FAILURE TO BE ASSIGNED TO AN AUTHORIZED POSITION IN THE 75TH RANGER REGIMENT, SP OPNS CMD (SQI “P” SP OPNS CMD) OR 82ND ABN (SQI “P” 82ND ABN) WILL RESULT IN THE RECOUPMENT OF THE SRB."

Sounds like if you can get assigned there you can get the bonus.

If you reenlist for the assignment and do not pass whatever qualification for the assignment and you cannot be assigned to the unit, the money will be recouped.

Fully understood. From what my reenlistment NCO has told me, you have to submit a packet and be approved by the Regimental LNO at HRC before you can even go to the qualification part for this assignment.

Yeah, these assignments get large bonuses for a reason. They are not easy to get and it takes some effort, not only by the Soldier, but by the entire chain of command.
