Hi, I did 4 years of Army Reserve before reenlisting and going AD Army last Oct. I got a 20k quick ship bonus and a 15k critical MOS bonus for a total 35k. I'd like to switch my MOS from 25U to 25B. Both are critical skills MOS's.
Could I reenlist with 24 months to go and switch my MOS to 25B? If so, how would that effect my bonus? Would I likely get a bonus for going into another critical skills MOS? Would the new bonus replace my existing one? Is this possible? Thanks.

The minimum reenlistment for a bonus is 3 years.

The minimum reenlistment period for Option 3, Army Training Reenlistment Option is 3 years.

Soldiers will incur a 36-month service remaining requirement (SRR) from date of course completion. (You'll either reenlist for 4 years or 3 years and extend for up to 11 months to meet the SRR).

You will not receive a bonus for reenlisting for another MOS (because you must be qualified in that MOS first).
