I have a soldier that just re-enlisted and within 2 weeks a new srb bonus came out. He did not qualify for a cash bonus when he re-enlisted but does now. I heard that there was a time frame that was allowed for cases like this bu I am unable to find it. Is there something that will help this soldier get some bonus?

No, unless your Soldier is within 2 years of his/her ETS (unless deployed) and meets the current qualifications for the bonus.

Sorry, there is no "grace period" for selective reenlistment bonuses.

I am a SFC with 12 years of service, my ETS date is 10 AUG 2009 and my MOS is 11B. Do I qualify for a bonus once I am in within 24 months 10 Aug? I am currently stationed at Ft Benning with no PCS orders at this time.

ArmyReenlistment will give you the correct information. I just wanted to see how close I got with the information you gave me. I'm not a retention NCO. I just did a little research. I'm sure I forgot to ask some important questions. AR will square you away hoo'ah.

If you re-up til 2015 you would get:
Zone A - $20,000
Zone B - $25,000
Zone C - $15,000

If you re-up til 2014 you would get:
Zone A - $17,000
Zone B - $21,000
Zone C - $12,500

If you re-up til 2013 you would get:
Zone A - $13,500
Zone B - $17,000
Zone C - $10,500

Bring it on!

Because you are not deployed, assigned to a MiTT team or your ETS is not within FY07/FY08, you do not qualify for the Enhanced Bonus.

On the Inventory Bonus, SSG 11Bs between 10 and 14 years may qualify for a bonus multiplier of 2. The bonus cap is $25,000.

If you can provide me with the following information, I'll get a more accurate bonus calculation for you:

BASD
PEBD (if different from BASD)
ETS
and I think I have the rest of the information.

My BASD is 17 July 1995
ETS is 10 Aug 2009

I am a SFC, MOS is 11B, I hit 12 years on 17 July 2007. No orders for Mitt or deployment. I still qualify for Inventory Bonus?
Milper 07-141? Thanks.

AR, (and friends Smiler)

I have shown my Retention NCO your SRB chart, and where it says I am eligible for a bonus. However, he tells me that, this chart, lol, does'nt apply to me.

What gives?

Here is my info:

Currently 68J, 6 years TIS ETS 13DEC2008
Reclassing to 68X once I recieve a class date.
The school requires 18 Months After completion, so I'm guessing I will be reenlisting for either 3, or 4 years.

Either way, why am I not eligible for a bonus?

Thanks in Advance.

Remember... FY 2008 ends in SEP. Your DEC 2008 ETS is actually in FY 2009. Sorry bro.

Can't do the BEAR, but you get Option 3, Army Training Option.

Get with a Career Counselor for a list of what the Army is offering you.
