Why is it that a C zone bonus is only paid to the sixteen year mark.
I am currently in the bear program and when I reenlist I will have one month shy of 14 year. So i only get paid for 25 months. But someone wanting to do a CSB bonus can get it after 16 years. Seems strange.
I was told by reenlistment that my application for the CSRB will not be approved because I have over 13 year. Out of 26 applications she has only got 4 approved.
to answer your question it does not make since that they stop it at 16 year but pay the CSRB to people past that.

So if they only pay to the 16 year mark, then reenlisting for the max which would get you a bigger bonus is kinda pointless if you are at say 13 1/2 years? Do they just take the bonus and divide it up proportionately or something?
