If I got a bonus 28K for four years upon inital enlistment, would they recoup any portion of this if I re-enlisted right at my window for either Option Three or the BEAR Program?

The breakdown was something like 12K MOS, 14K Quick Ship and 2K College.

BASD: 20070201
PEBD: 20010125 (Prior Service Reservist)
SPC/E4
DOR: 20070418

No, you will not have an enlistment bonus recouped for reenlisting for Option 3 or extending under the BEAR Program.

How much active time did you have while on reserve status?

I had 3 Active and 5 IRR; Still fighting to get my time re-computed properly. PEBD is ggood, BASD needs adjustment.

If you have over 179 days of prior active service, you are considered a mid-career Soldier and will not be offered Option 3, Army Training Reenlistment Option (unless your MOS were overstrength).

Sorry for the confusion was referring to drilling status versus IRR while in the reserves. DA/DFAS are saying that all my active duty time in reserves (i.e Annual training, Inital entry, Active Duty for Special Work (ADSW)) are only equal to three months total.

Just have your Career Counselor verify your BASD/PEBD (they are experts). If what you're saying to correct, you'll be offered Option 3 and can choose another MOS; probably a critical MOS.
