I called the local office for jeff Miller and they told me to fill out a Casework authorization form (on website) get together all supporting documents and bring it into the office. They will fax and mail it both and give indication of reciept within 24hrs. Ive got a email fwd from my SGM of Womak stating that we should be paid by 1 Aug. thats going to find its way in there too.

Well, I filled out my case authorization form and attached all supporting documents (csrb packet and related emails) and sent it up to the local military/veterans guy today.
If you just email your Congressman it is not as effective as starting a case, or at least thats what they told me. So I guess we shall see...

IlikeC4Chris1,
Did they say if multiple "cases" should be started with the same representative? I have already sent a letter to Rep. Miller, but I will also open a case if may elicit a better/ quicker response.

I didn't ask about multiple cases but I do know that you need to fell out a casework authorization form and send that to the military/ veterans affair guy. Just an email is not very affective from what I was told. Where are you at? There is a local office here in Ft. Walton Beach or you can fax it. I can call and ask later about the multiple case thing. I also printed off the forms to mail to both Senators and Im faxing them today.

Where on the site did you find the casework authorization? Under the federal casework section?

Just received a message from my CoC regarding CSRB...btw this is the 1st message that I have received on the subject.

Subject: Update on CSRB (UNCLASSIFIED)
Importance: High

Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
Caveats: NONE

Yesterday I called HRC Retention and asked them about the CSRB, they do not have the CSRB memo with the corrections back from Secretary of Defense Office, so it is still a waiting game.
I did ask about those Soldiers who are redeploying and who submitted their CSRB requests in theater, HRC stated that those CSRBs will be tax free as long as the paperwork was submitted before redeployment.

As soon as we get more news or they release the message it will be send out to the field.

If you have any questions please feel free to call and thank you for your continuous support.

Gotta love a bureaucracy!

I ask about this on a daily basis and will post when we get a signature.

I thought I read in the newspaper that Congress is on a 5 week vacation. Hopefully, the other agencies will respond to each of the SMs congressmen during that time frame.

Is it possible that a Congressional Investigation would delay the process any more or will it have no effect if the paper work gets signed before the investigation is complete?
