Nothin official, but I talked to a very reliable source today that mentioned the authorization memo should be signed by the end of the week and an official message will be released next week.

Thank you! It would be really nice if someone would put something out to the 40 odd soldiers that this has been affecting. Everyone just waits and hopes that things are truly moving forward with the bits and pieces of information that is filtering out. The paperwork is supposedly all on one person's desk and Group knows how to get a hold of its soldiers.

Todays the last day befor the pay updates for the 1st paycheck, the 20th is the usally the cutoff for any pay inputs.

Bonuses are not paid with regular military pay ... it's paid when DFAS releases payment.

I agree it's a shame that we have to get our info from a public forum. With that being said thanx to everyone who has contributed to the info flow. Especialy to those who have nothing to benifit from this info other than job satisfaction.

, but we really enjoy doing our jobs and doing the whole "above and beyond" thing for all Soldiers and family members.

I know that bonuses aren't paid in regular pay. I just assumed that DFAS would still need a week to release the payment that is supposed to be coming on the 1st. Shouldn't have assumed. We all know what that does!
