Even though it's growing very frustrating, personally, when I keep posting endless updates that never really seem to bring any resolution to these cases, I'm not gonna stop until the memo or the new policy is posted for you.

Hang in there ... Frowner

It's YOUR career! Take control of it before someone else does.

It is very much appreciated! Just understand the frustration of those of us involved in the EOD community isn't directed toward you. As was said, we can vent here and hope that some day very soon this whole mess will be over.

It is back to the wait and see game. Group would have to care about its soldiers to resolve this matter. They haven't and don't want to put anything out in writing because they would actually have to follow through. Group can't be held responsible that way and can continue to pretend they have no clue it is happening.

anyones sources saying anything no news is bad news
Just as everyone thought as soon as it's put that it's almost done everyone who said they know anything, now don't know anything and they don't even know if it was or will be sign. The 2nd of august is not that far off. once it comes and goes we need to send our letters and we should maybe send it to all the press, if they start asking question and publicly hurting the military that might get them caring for this

I am an INDEF E-7 35M with a CSRB request submitted. I re-enlisted in 2005 that put me INDEF and was paid to my 16 year mark which is August 2010. From what I am gathering the main problem is with HRC and DFAS paying people the CSRB who are INDEF with an effective date like mine of 2010. I see a lot of people talking about something being signed and August 1st being the drop dead date. I was just wondering if most of you were in the same boat that I am in.

Day 151 of this saga since my husband was approved for the CSRB and only hearing crickets. I wonder how hard it will be for units to get a hold of Womack next Friday.

Unless the current CSRB milper message is extended, it expires Jan 1, 2009. Let's say it does expire and the 38 SMs still haven't gotten paid. When they finally do qualify by reaching year 16, will they get to collect the CSRB payment because it was signed during the alloted time frame? Or is the SM out of luck?

I don't think the powers to be don't realy care if we get paid so long as they don't look bad, as for Womack if this dosen't happen on the 1st I'll do my best so no one will ever beleive what ever comes out of his mouth again.

No one really believes anything that comes out of his mouth. That was proven long before the CSRB fiasco. He is smart enough not to put anything in writing though!
