I am thinking of reenlisting while I am deployed again. I received a bonus in 05 during deployment for reenlisting. How is it determined what zone you are in and will I be eligible for another bonus?
(1) Zone A - reenlistment between 21 months and six years of active service.
(2) Zone B - reenlistment between six to 10 years of active service.
(3) Zone C - reenlistment from 10 to 14 years of active service.
According to your BASD you are still in Zone A, and since you received a bonus in Zone A you will not be able to recieve another bonus until you break the zone. In your case it would be 2008 Apr 18. I hope this helps

Thank you very much this will be very helpful. I have also been looking at the bonus calculator and I am totally confused. I will be in Zone B when I am ready to reenlist and I will also still be in Iraq. I am thinking I am going to reenlist for 4 years. How can I figure my bonus using this calculator?
First put the month, day after and year of your current ETS. Then input the month, day and year of your new ETS. Then put in the rank that you will be. for example if my ETS date is 19 Jul 2009 and i was going to reenlist for 4 yrs. I will put in 20 Jul 2009. then i would put my new ETS which would be 20 Jul 2013, and i would put my grade as 6.
