I am a SGT with 4 years in as a 13M, and have never reenlisted. I am currently in Iraq and was wondering if there is any bonus for reenlisting for one year?

But I do know that you can't re-up for only 1 yr.

I belive that You CAN re-up for 3 yrs..when you are 24 months out. Which is the equivelent of "adding" 1 yr of time. (prolly what ya meant)

The minimum reenlistment period for an SRB is 3 years.

As Joe Army stated, you can reenlist 24 months from your ETS for 3 years, thus adding one year to your current contract for a bonus. Your bonus won't be that much though.

Being deployed, you can reenlist regardless of your ETS.
