Whenever my bonus goes through, will it post on Mypay the date I get it?

Well today the President Signs the bill into law, so lets see how long before we get our money.

The one career counselor that has posted here did not answer my question. I still would like to know if the NDAA is the only thing we need to get signed before they start paying bonuses. The defense appropriations have still not been approved and I don't want everyone to be getting excited about this getting signed today if it isn't the only thing we need signed. you know? I wish someone really knew what was going on and could answer. Originally on Facebook, ArmyReenlistment.com posted that we needed Authorization to be signed, but then stated that the Continuing Appropriations Resolution needed to be signed. Those are 2 completely different things and at the time they posted the CAR had already been signed like 2 weeks prior. So, I have been trying to figure out if the appropriations (H.R. 3326)need to be approved and signed as well or if the NDAA is enough..

as far as I know all we need is the defense bill signed cuz this includes the money for bonuses and pay ect...

I just cannot believe they allowed people to reenlist knowing the money was not approve yet.

Yeah don't you love how when you owe them money they are all over it but if they owe you money it's "when we get to it". My husband's cc still says 10-30 days but that's like tomorrow and since it wasn't signed until today probably won't happen. Hope we have it by Dec. My husband comes home for r&r it would be nice to be able to take a nice vaca.

I also reenlisted on the 1st of october and have been waiting.. my cc always tells me "they have not heard anything yet" after i signed its like im a hassle now because i want the money that is owed to me.. if i owed the army money it would be taken out of my next paycheck. If anyone get's there bonus let us know please.

yes i also reenlisted on oct.5 still havnt got nothing i asked and they kept saying ne other day now this is becoming bull**** someone let us know when u get yours.

my husband signed zone A at oct.20th
they said we will get the bonus 2~5days
but we still didn't got the bonus.
i have no idea what's going on....
i'm kinda afraid we won't get the bonus
is there anyone got the bonus??

Hubby reenlisted 1st of oct! No bonus yet! Well lets just hope it wont take too long from now! We've been told, since its signed it could come in any day!

ARMYWIFE27 If he signed for a bonus he will get the bonus but based on my experience 2-5 days for anything to do with finance is nothing short of a miracle. The rest of us have been waiting 3+weeks if that gives you any piece of mind.

I finally got my bonus...I reenlisted Septmeber 10th and I got it yesterday. For all you guys expecting to get it in 2-5 days, you're living in a perfect world. You'll get your bonus, I nearly had to wait 2 months. Just hae you or your husband stay on top of those Career Counselers. Good Luck.

My husband also reelisted Oct 1st. The CC told us it would take about 8-10 days from the 1st to recieve the money. Then to be on the safe side he also made sure to say that it could take up to 30 days. Well 30 days have come and gone now and still no sign of my husbands bonus. I agree they should not let anyone reenlist without at least letting them know that they were waiting on the money to pay them. The military should never promise money within 30 days if they don't have it at the time.

I read on the DFAS website I found, that you should recieve your bonus within 30 days and if you don't then you need to contact your local finance office. But because today makes day 31, we have to wait until Monday to go knocking on their door. As someone else has said on here if you owe them money, they take it from you the very next pay date. But if they owe you they lally gag and drag their feet getting it to you and treat you like your a burden. I seriously don't think that is right at all.

My husbands CC didn't even know that the paper that they was waiting to be signed was signed when he asked him about this yesterday. That's also not right. He said the guy acted like he had no idea when anyone would get their bonuses now. I can't believe they would not at least have something, someplace online so everyone could find out what is going on with their bonuses now that they have the funding for them and at least let us know when they expect to start paying everyone.

I really hope DFAS is working over time, yes through the weekend too, like our soldiers would be if something they was waiting on was running late and finally came in. It is only right that they do the same. I hate the double standards that I have seen too many times since my husband enlisted so many years ago.

I've been thinking they will probably end up waiting until after the 1st to deposit anyones bonus money now anyways. Now that LES's were posted already for this month. Because I remember the last time my husband reenlisted, while in Iraq, it showed up on his LES for that month. Because any money you get throughout the whole month needs to be on your LES so they can tax you, they probably will wait until it can be put on next months LES. But then again Miller SSG type got his yesterday. So I'm not sure how that will work out on his LES. Maybe they will just put it on his next LES.

I really wished they would have deposited my husbands bonus by now. We was hoping to decorate outside for Halloween, but can't because we don't want to use money that we will need for basic things over the few weeks. They should never have promised everyone that they would get their bonus money within 30 days, knowing they didn't have the funding to do so.
