Finnally i get on here. i wanna say this is ridiculous why is it taking so long my last reenlistment bonus i got within a week. This one has been 31 days and no bonuses. Its funny that CC will call you and ask if you are going to reenlist and seem like they will do anything till you say yes. but when its done and said with why are they not calling and seeing if we got our money everything is ok or what. Why first would we need to wait until the ndaa is signed what does that have to do with a contract. like everyone said if we owed money they would take it quick. Can any CC answer us all on when we will get our money

yesterday we spoke to my husband's cc and he ran around half the day trying to find out what is going on and calling dfas, going to finance whatever.. the cc's are getting the run around also. it isn't really their faults. they only know what we know. it sucks, but we just have to wait. hopefully now that ssg miller got his (he reenlisted in sept) that means the rest of us will get ours soon. i am not sure why he had to wait on his at all since he reenlisted last fy though.. so his might not be related to ours at all.. i don't know.

My bonus was probably different than most of yours. I reenlisted under the BEAR program. I entered the BEAR program in Feb 2008. Now that I have reclassed and arrived at my new unit, it was time for me to reenist. I got a bonus from when they were high back in Feb '08. Pretty nice chunk! :-) Hope everyones bonuses come quick. wow... that was really rude.. i was glad to hear that he got his. he has been waiting longer than any of the rest of us. we are all lucky to be getting a bonus. there are a lot of people who aren't getting them at all anymore.

as soon as anybody either receives there bonus or finds out what is going on will you post it please? My husband reenlisted October 19th so I know I haven't waited anywhere the length of time as everyone else but it is still frustrating because his CC didn't say anything about bonuses not being paid when he reenlisted even though the message had gone out. I wish a CC would get on here with new info about what we are waiting for before they pay the bonuses out. Good Luck to everyone and I await good news!

I'm not sure if anyone else went to finance today, but we did. They checked on the status of my husbands bonus and they said it was released last Friday. Then said that means it could come in anytime now. They did tell us that they can not find out when it is deposited.
So I guess releasing the bonus is the last step before it's deposited? They did not say anything about waiting on anything else, just that ours was released, whatever that is suppose to mean? Anyone know? All's I know is my husband reelisted on Oct 1st and we are still waiting for it to come in. At least we now know it was "released".

I just wanted to give a little update, sorry I can't be of any help, all I can do is update on what we heard today.

Thank you for the update. It's nice to see things are moving along especially for all of you that have been waiting so much longer than we have. My husband has been in the field and on ranges so Finance is not an option for us but let us know when you get it deposited so maybe the rest of us have hope! Good luck and God bless!

WE GOT OUR BONUS! Yay! My husband reenlisted Oct 1st! We usually get our paycheck 3 days before others bc our bank is in germany and they are hrs ahead of United States!
Glad its going forward and I hope everyones bonus will come in soon 2!

That's awesome Mrs. D! We also get our pay several days early but it did not come in on our payday last week. So I'm not sure why we have not got it yet, being how it was "released" 'gotta love that word, lol' about 4 days ago. I do recall them saying it could take up to 72 hours after that, but I'm hoping it will be alot sooner since my hubby is on leave this week which is very rare with the job he has right now.

If it does not come in this week then we'll end up sitting home just hanging out together all week. If it does then we can actually go out and get things we need and go have some fun this week. But that all hinges on when they decide to deposit the money. Hopefully it will be in tomorrow. But you never know maybe our bank is holding it for a few days or something. Never know.

Thanks so much for starting this post. I was looking all over the place trying to find out any information I could and I finally found this place and at least knew we was not alone and it has helped us understand why it is taking longer then it ever has. I really appreciate the info. I'll keep ya'll posted.

we got ours and so did a friend of ours who reenlisted with my husband on the 1st of october.. i hope the rest of you either got yours as well or get them very soon

My husband also got his this morning and he reenlisted on October 19th. Hope everyone else gets good news this morning too!!
