Mine was on the LES after the fact- And remember you'll be taxed HEAVILY. Like 40%. But you should get most of that back on your tax refund. (Unless you're married and spouse makes bazillions, and/or you have other income..)

Dont listen to any of this. Go to the finance office on post or FOB where ever you are. How much was bonus for and when did you turn it in? Bonus are paid like this. The finance office pays the first $10000.00 anything over that DFAS Indy pays on the annviersary of your reporting to your duty station. If you have not received your payment of $10000.00 it only takes 7 days after you turn in the paper work. 4-1, 4-2, 4-3 and statement of enlistment, MSO orders or AIT Certificate. Orders to your duty station. That is required. Take this to finance and ask them. Good luck. If the person is not finance on here like I am dont listen to their BS.

So you need to go back there and ask them if you bonus was updated to reflect $40000.00 and not $10000.00. It only takes a like a week to get it fixed the first time. This bonus will be taxed everytime no matter what.

Hopefully your original enlistment papers made it into your OMPF, Official Military Personnel File. Log into AKO and go to Self Service, My Personnel.
If it is there just print out your original paperwork and take it to S-1 for Finance.
Also, when dealing with the Army, always make at least two copies of everything they give you and put them in separate locations. The Army does have a way of losing things.
