i recently reenlisted in iraq. when i went to reenlistment they told me that my basd was wrong and that it had to be fixed before they could reenlist me. they did up a 1506 and told me that the new date was supposed to be what my basd is. so that date was submitted for my reenlistment. that basd date would give me a 1.5a. it turned out that my original basd was right and my bonus should only be a 1b. is there a form or something that i could do so i get the right bonus. i have allready reenlisted under the basd that they came up with on the 1506. i do not want to have to cancel my contract and start over. but i want to make sure that i dont get extra money that i should not be getting. i am just trying to do the right thing. if anyone could help i would appreciate it. thanks

Talk to your Career Counselor and he/she can straighten things out.

You'll have to bring this up to your Career Counselor for a resolution.

If you have prior service, bring in all your DD Form 214s and/or NG-22s so they can figure your correct BASD out. This is very important because it determines your retirement date.
