No talking to his career counselor and yes ive been in the suck and occasionally you do see daylight or he will comeout and talk to you or you can go through your coc and get the awnswer.

Its a simple process all he has to do is request to talk with a career counselor they will
a. fly him out to one.
b. fly one out to him.
c. let him talk to one via email, dsn, sat phone.
d. all of the above.

And if he can talk to you occasionally he should be able to talk to counselor. Or will be able to shortly
