Alright, this one will most likely be for you again armyreenlistment, haha. I re enlisted at my last duty station as an E4, for station of choice only. I was at two years and a couple of months, into my 3 year contract. I re enlisted for 3 more years, plus station of choice. Come to find out whenever I go to sign the papers, it comes with a .5A bonus. It was a small amount of money, but it was a bonus no less. Now I have 4 years in, my enlistment is up next September, and it still won't put me into the Bravo zone. I've been promoted to E5 since, am I entitled to a re enlistment bonus? CC is telling me that I'm not, and I just want to get a second opinion on this. Thanks!

Unfortunately you are NOT entitled to a bonus until you reach 6 years active federal service.
You can only get a bonus in each zone once.
We ran into the same problem when we were deployed to OIF-3. Soldiers that reenlisted in OIF-1 were given a flat $5,000 bonus and now they couldn't take advantage of the $15,000 bonus.
Boooooooooooooooo!!!! Alright, I had just wanted to get a second opinion on that. What iiiif, I were able to extend my contract for a year in Sept 07. I know I'd be able to extend if I were to attend a school or...I don't know. Could you shed some light on this for me please? I can't really think right now I'm not paying too much attention.
