Are SGT and SSG 31B, still not being offered bonuses to re-up? If so, does anyone have any idea when that will change? I'm going to reenlist with or without a bonus, however, it would be nice to get a little pocket change...

Correct, no reenlist bonus for SGT and SSG 31B (unless your deployed).

This will change when the MOS strengths goes below a specific percentage and the future projections are decreasing.

I would anticipate a new bonus message in the coming weeks, but don't expect bonuses to be going up or many (if any) MOSs being added.

I am a 31B and I am planning on re-enlisting in the next few weeks. I want to know about the MGIB transfer option. My retention NCO is away and I can't seem to find anyhing specific on it, can you help?

What is your rank and how many years do you have in the military?

I am a SGT and in OCT I will be at 10 years.

Because your MOS/rank does not qualify for a bonus, you don't qualify for the MGIB Transferability Program.

For you the Carreer Counselor, I am the Retention NCO at my CO and you say the Bonuses are coming back real soon? Do you kknow anymore than that i.e. amount or anything else? Thank you

Never mentioned bonuses coming back ...

However, a new bonus message should be out shortly (never know when these things happen), but I would anticipate bonus amounts to decrease.
