Ok, so if you have been in the Army for 22 almost 23 years and you are currently serving over seas in OIF and its time for you to reenlist, but everyone is telling you that there is no bonus for you because have been in the Army to long....Is this true?? If so why??

reserve. Why? What difference would this make.

I am an active Army Career Counselor and I deal with alot of these questions.

In the active Army, Selective Reenlistment Bonuses (SRB) are cut-off at 14 years of active service.

It's a little different in the reserves though. Someone should be answering your question shortly.
